About the role

  • As an Electrical Assembler / Technician (m/f/d) in the test field, you are an important part of our team
  • Perform tests and ensure the quality of our electrical systems and components
  • Assemble and wire electrical assemblies, control cabinets and test systems according to circuit diagrams, parts lists and technical drawings
  • Perform functional and safety tests on electrical devices, systems and components in accordance with test plans, standards and customer specifications
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve electrical faults or deviations during testing procedures
  • Carry out measurements and record test results (e.g. insulation resistance tests, high-voltage testing, continuity checks, performance testing)
  • Document test results in test reports
  • Support development and quality departments with prototype tests and series approvals
  • Contribute to the optimization of test procedures and technical improvements to test rigs and measurement fixtures
  • Comply with safety regulations and quality standards in the test area
  • Support commissioning and final inspections with the customer
  • Assist in training new employees or apprentices in the test field

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an Electronician for Operating Technology (Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik), Mechatronics Technician, Electrician or comparable qualification
  • Strong skills in reading and implementing wiring diagrams and circuit documentation
  • Experience working with measuring and testing equipment (e.g. multimeter, insulation tester, power meters)
  • Knowledge of electrical protection measures and testing standards (VDE, DIN EN 61439, etc.)
  • Careful, structured and quality-conscious working style
  • Ability to work in a team and take responsibility when handling electrical systems
