About the role
- Responsible for solution-oriented sales of consulting and engineering services in the field of machinery safety.
- Act as a technically proficient point of contact on equal terms with development, safety and production managers.
- Support customers from initial analysis through to implementation of standards-compliant safety solutions.
- Advisory sales of machine safety solutions including functional safety, CE compliance and safety-related automation.
- Analysis of customer requirements in machinery and plant engineering as well as industrial production.
- Identify new business opportunities and systematically expand existing customer relationships.
- Develop, price and negotiate technical proposals and project scopes.
- Close collaboration with internal engineering and safety experts.
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Several years of experience in technical B2B sales or in a consulting-related role within machine safety
- Solid knowledge or practical experience in machine safety and functional safety standards (e.g. EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13849, EN IEC 62061)
- CE conformity assessment and risk assessment
- Ability to explain complex technical and normative issues clearly and in a customer-oriented manner
- Confident manner, strong consulting and negotiation skills
- Native-level German, fluent English
- Willingness to travel for customer projects.
