About the role

  • Design and develop robust applications using Object-Oriented ABAP principles
  • Manage the complete development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Ensure performance optimization and adherence to SAP development standards
  • Develop and maintain CDS View Entities and Root Views
  • Implement associations, compositions, and advanced annotations
  • Design and configure CDS Access Control (DCL) for data security and role-based access
  • Develop and manage BDEF with feature control implementations
  • Implement Actions, Functions, Determinations, and Validations
  • Handle draft functionality and manage business object lifecycle
  • Expose OData services via RAP
  • Collaborate with Fiori/UI teams for seamless frontend integration

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in ABAP development
  • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP
  • Experience with CDS modeling
  • Experience with RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP)
  • Experience in designing and developing enterprise applications aligned with SAP’s clean core principles
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants and UI teams
  • Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability
