Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger, performing reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end and year-end close.
Prepare and post journal entries; maintain and update the chart of accounts.
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
Assist in preparing accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Oversee or assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset depreciation.
Ensure all financial records comply with GAAP.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
1–3 years of experience in an accounting role.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
Experience with QuickBooks online (preferred) or ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
