About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and update employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, and changes
Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Generate and distribute payroll reports for management and finance teams
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate deductions, benefits, and tax reporting
Entering weekly invoices into Quickbooks and client billing systems for hours and expenses
Creating biweekly invoices in Quickbooks for clients
Assist with audits, reporting, and other payroll-related projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees weekly
Rippling payroll software experience preferred (or similar HRIS/payroll platforms)
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general accounting practices
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
