About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion, including design, coordination, budget, and schedule, in conjunction with the Superintendent
Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
Meet with Owners and Architects professionally and communicate the concerns and best interests of the company effectively
Monitor, interpret, and forecast project cost reports to align with estimates and maintain positive cash flow
Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
Submit project reports to the Area Manager and communicate project progress and risks requiring escalation to management

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of Heavy Civil experience working on roads, bridges, earthworks, or similar projects
Construction-related degree/diploma and 5–8 years of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
Working knowledge of construction scopes and activities
Knowledge of scheduling, project management, and contract software
Ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relations
Experience with structural piling, concrete work, and tunneling is an asset
