Accountability for ensuring that mechanical and electrical equipment meet operational requirements
Responsible for programs that ensure the resilience of building systems
Leadership of Continuous Quality Improvement objectives to streamline operations
Oversight of a supervisory team managing in-house and subcontracted support teams
Ensure effective maintenance and asset replacement schedules

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of engineering management experience in a maintenance environment
Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Fire Code, and relevant healthcare facility standards
Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and ICAT systems
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Experience with a large unionized team of skilled and non-skilled trades.
Understanding of contract management and union negotiation/grievance resolution skills.
