Facilities Operations Supervisor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment meet operational/statutory requirements
- Responsible for resilience programs of building systems
- Lead Continuous Quality Improvement objectives
- Oversight of supervisory team managing day-to-day operations
- Ensure effective maintenance and asset replacement schedules
- Manage financial and departmental delivery of facilities services
- Act as a technical resource for CMMS systems optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of engineering management experience in a maintenance environment
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Fire Code, and healthcare facility standards
- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and ICAT systems
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Critical thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with a large unionized team
- Understanding of contract management and union negotiations
