About the role

  • Lead the solutions delivery team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Define and execute a roadmap for cloud-first architecture and AI-enabled automation across business systems.
  • Align technology initiatives with firm-wide goals for scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Drive migration of legacy applications and integrations to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities for AI and machine learning to automate workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance decision-making.
  • Deploy intelligent bots and predictive analytics to streamline tax, audit, and advisory processes.
  • Oversee design and implementation of secure, scalable integrations between ERP, CRM, and specialized accounting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards during modernization efforts.
  • Lead development of custom applications leveraging cloud-native services and AI capabilities.
  • Manage full SDLC with emphasis on agile delivery and DevOps practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks for application lifecycle management, including coding standards, documentation, and version control.
  • Drive adoption of modern development methodologies and tools, such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD, to optimize delivery and quality.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with cloud and AI solution providers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in cloud migration strategies, AI/ML implementation, and enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
  • Strong understanding of accounting firm operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) and/or equivalent of education and experiences.
  • 10+ years of experience in application development and systems integration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
