About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and serve as an immediate clinical resource to staff on a designated unit and shift
Demonstrate well developed clinical competencies appropriate to specialty area
Collaborate with medical staff for relevant clinical and other issues
Provide oversight and ensure smooth shift-based operations
Coach and mentor other staff, promoting teamwork
Collaborate with the Practice Manager to control costs
Address/stabilize management and operational issues requiring immediate attention
Support the department’s Shared Governance structure and accountability for quality improvement outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN required or must be actively enrolled in a program
Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in an acute care setting required
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Hampshire required
Life support authorization (BLS, ACLS, etc.) appropriate to patient population required
Specialty certification required within six (6) months of eligibility.
