Drive revenue monthly and quarterly close processes by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and period-over-period trend analyses.
Collaborate with the Billing team to ensure customer contracts are recorded accurately in NetSuite.
Assist in the preparation of revenue-related reporting and financial statement disclosures.
Manage the revenue accounting for the growing Partnership revenue stream.
Work closely with FP&A to provide inputs for revenue forecasts as needed.
Support audit requests with external auditors.
Partner cross-functionally with other business groups (Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A, Services).
Actively seek process improvements that will bring accuracy and efficiency to the team and financial systems.
Seek to automate manual processes wherever possible.
Participate in group discussions, foster a positive team environment, and present feedback to management · Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
6–8 years years of experience in revenue recognition.
Strong proficiency in NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management module, Salesforce, Excel, US GAAP and ASC 606 accounting standards.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communications skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively manage one’s own work streams as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail with an appreciation for accuracy, compliance, ethics, and internal control mindset.
Ability to maintain a high level of client confidentiality.
Ability to travel up None as business needs require
