Senior Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Immunology
Eli Lilly and Company. The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is responsible for thought leader engagement and peer-to-peer (P2P) education within Lilly’s portfolio of therapies in Immunology from prelaunch to commercialization .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is responsible for thought leader engagement and peer-to-peer (P2P) education within Lilly’s portfolio of therapies in Immunology from prelaunch to commercialization
- This role closely partners with the Immunology Customer Strategy Head Senior Director to develop and lead educational engagement strategies for Dermatologists, Allergists, Rheumatologists, Advanced Practice Providers and Key Office Immunology staff across a variety of indications
- Internally, this role requires strong cross-functional skills to partner with brand teams, medical, compliance, external vendors, and others in the development, implementation, and execution of the P2P and Congress strategy
- Externally, this job includes interaction, coaching, development and support of contracted thought leaders (faculty and advisors) on a regular basis as well as at Immunology Congresses
- Identify, develop, and evaluate 30-40 Dermatology, Allergy and Rheumatology Thought Leaders (TLs)
- Evaluate, coach and support speakers by interacting with each faculty member monthly
- Responsible for annual brand and compliance training of all speakers
- Coordinate TL engagements with Lilly Brand and Senior Leadership attendees at Congresses
- Attend competitor presentations and provide ideas and resources to brand teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of industry experience (Immunology strongly preferred, specialty or immunology experience required)
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Preferred advanced graduate degree (PhD, MPH, PharmD, etc.) in a health-related field
- Preferred advanced graduate degree in business (MBA)
- Consistent demonstration of the performance management leadership behaviors relevant to senior director role
- Prior Marketing or Thought Leader Liaison experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- High clinical interest in sophisticated biologic discussions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent self-management and organizational skills
- Effective teamwork skills
- Prior launch experience
- Expertise with US affiliate marketing materials approval processes
- Experience with agencies / external partner vendors
- Understanding of laws and regulations covering providers and payer
