About the role

  • Define and manage the AI portfolio roadmap across avatars program deployment and AI use cases expansion to serve all types of customers (HCPs, Payors, Patients)
  • Deploy and operate AI solutions to support operational excellence and productivity through prompting education and AI internal use cases.
  • Take advantage of AI to reinforce compliance at scale
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and impactful AI solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities for AI integration in commercial, IVA and medical workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to internalize AI tech framework for cost effectiveness and strategical hand over in collaboration with Solutions Service
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for each initiative, ensuring measurable business value.
  • Represent Lilly externally in AI forums, partnerships, and thought leadership engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in AI strategy, product leadership, or digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise AI initiatives from concept to scale.
  • Experience with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and avatar technologies.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and compliance frameworks (preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills (preferred).
