Be the strategic guardian of execution and compliance for the team of direct reports (district)
Team leadership (recruitment, development and retention)
Develop direct reports through periodic field visits focused on coaching, with formal documentation in the District Coaching Tool (DCT)
The main competencies to be developed with the team to enable full performance in the role are: Technical Knowledge, Emotional Intelligence, Market Analysis, Access Channels – Public and Private, VBS Sales Technique and Strategic Execution
Possess technical knowledge of the products and the patient journey for diabetes, and be fully familiar with the key messages and strategies related to the promoted products to increase the promotional effectiveness of direct reports
Build strategic alliances with external stakeholders (HCPs, Key Opinion Leaders and Medical Societies)
Interact with all company areas to optimize resources and results for the business
Manage your team’s medical panel (Targeting Effectiveness) and ensure direct reports meet KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Plan and manage the execution of action plans to generate demand for the promoted brands
Consult and use sales productivity data (SPP) to build the district’s promotional execution strategy
Manage/plan the use of financial resources allocated to the district, controlling and approving operational expenses
Ensure accurate allocation of resources in accordance with Lilly policies and current legislation
Actively contribute in business meetings
Bring relevant information to discussions (Speak‑Up) and challenge the status quo in search of better practices and solutions (Innovation)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate studies and/or MBA in business and/or people management will be considered a plus)
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical market (prior experience as a sales representative or in management roles related to promotional activities will be considered a plus)
Intermediate level of English
Reside in the city of Salvador/BA or its satellite cities (if the selected candidate does not yet have established residence in the region, the maximum period to regularize this requirement is 30 days)
Availability to travel (at least 2 weeks per month)
