About the role

  • Execute the technical development and formulation of new products or modifications to existing ones, complying with current legislation and department procedures, and working together with laboratories subcontracted by ELGIN;
  • Request samples from Chinese suppliers for products that meet the requirements of the Brazilian market, perform testing, register items, prepare technical data sheets with product specifications, review packaging, technical labels, manuals, and prepare presentations/trainings for the commercial team, as well as briefs for marketing — strong communication skills are important;
  • Assist in the development of the Small Appliances and Cookware product lines;
  • Interact with external certifying bodies (Brazil and China) to develop, approve and certify products with INMETRO;
  • Liaise with suppliers in China to develop and certify products for the Brazilian market;
  • Have technical and market knowledge of Small Appliances and Cookware product lines.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of certification processes and certificate maintenance for these products with INMETRO;
  • Market knowledge, able to identify best-selling items (A-curve) and sales distribution for each model;
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Production (not mandatory), Business Administration, or Marketing;
  • Advanced English;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable delivering training and conducting meetings with the sales team;
  • Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, Power BI, and PowerPoint for data analysis and product presentations.
