About the role
- Build and structure the regional team of independent sales representatives, being responsible for hiring and terminations.
- Provide market intelligence, such as price benchmarking, portfolio expansion opportunities and market trends within the relevant segments.
- Monitor and train the independent sales team to improve regional performance.
- Respect the independent representative contract, not imposing sales quotas or requiring periodic reports, in accordance with regulations governing independent representatives.
- Analyze and develop the team's sales reports.
- Monitor the order processing flow and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Track transportation and delivery processes together with logistics to maintain a satisfactory level of customer service.
- Prepare and participate in sales team meetings.
- Manage the material resources of subordinates (business cards, planners, printed materials, etc.).
- Ensure independent sales representatives have equal opportunities by adjusting client portfolios, routes and priorities so that all opportunities are explored across all channels and segments in the region.
- Establish incentive campaigns and awards for the team aligned with National Management/Executive Board.
- Maintain the portfolio of active and inactive customers and prospect new clients.
- Perform strategic sales planning using tools such as Excel, Salesforce (CRM) and Power BI to cover white spaces, support new hires, broaden coverage, increase product mix and improve brand visibility.
- Volume, Profit and Cost: Ensure achievement of sales volume and targets by defining appropriate pricing and margins for locally registered sales.
- Participate in negotiation of key contracts. Manage ongoing costs using the latest tools and processes to maximize team efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Technology or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of the following segments: Building Materials, Electrical Materials, Food, Pharmaceutical and IT.
- Leadership and team development skills.
- Strategic planning and execution.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competition and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies.
- Results-oriented: Focus on achieving quantitative and qualitative goals, with emphasis on revenue growth, profit and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior-level B2B clients to strengthen the company's market position.
- Negotiation and contract management: Experience in complex negotiations, pricing definition and margin management to ensure profitability.
- Financial acumen: Ability to manage costs and ensure volume, profit and operational efficiency targets are met.
- Data-driven decision making: Ability to interpret metrics and reports to make informed decisions and implement improvement plans.
