About the role
- The Senior Engineering Manager plays a critical leadership role within our Agile/Scrum SaaS Solutions Engineering organization, driving technical excellence, delivery quality, and team development across multiple product domains.
- This role provides oversight and strategic direction for software engineering teams responsible for building and maintaining our global connectivity platform.
- As a senior leader, this role partners closely with the CTO and cross-functional stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap, mature our engineering culture, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery at scale.
- Leads, coaches, and develops multiple engineering teams and their managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provides high-level technical oversight across multiple projects, ensuring architectural alignment and delivery of scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
- Acts as a bridge between engineering, product, and business functions to ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including 5+ years leading teams and 2+ years managing managers
- Proven success delivering commercial SaaS products at scale, with a focus on quality, performance, and security
- Deep understanding of Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, and large-scale data or networking systems
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining strategic oversight
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build alignment across functions, and communicate technical strategy to senior leadership
- Experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server in a multi-tenant SaaS environment strongly preferred.
