Community Outreach Manager – MyCare Ohio to deliver high‐quality, trauma informed, culturally competent, person‐centered coordination for members addressing physical health, behavioral health, long term services and supports, and psychosocial needs.
Develop, implement, and manage community outreach and retention strategies across five state regions to achieve marketing and retention goals focusing on member education, outreach, and orientation.
Engage members to mitigate disenrollment, resolve complex member issues, and assist in accessing correct care.
Create opportunities with events and presentations to reach and educate the community on company programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and churches and act as resource for organizations interested in company programs.
Establish and maintain relationships and execute growth and retention strategies with providers within assigned territories.
Conduct community based new member intake and orientation.
Measure and track results through score carding and identify root causes to meet retention targets within specific regions within the state.
Track outreach activities, including referrals, partnerships, and event attendance, and report on progress toward outreach goals.
Gather feedback from community members and partners to continually improve outreach strategies and program delivery.
Create marketing materials to support members and community education of benefits.
Deliver presentations, attend meetings, and distribute educational materials to members and non-members.
Meet and present to county and community officials.
Develop and manage regional budgets.
Organize and lead member and community feedback meetings across all regions, quarterly.
30%-40% travel required within the state, variable travel as needed.
Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree in sociology, psychology, social work, public health, nursing or other related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Bilingual skills preferred.
Management experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations and build strong relationships with community leaders.
Experience in community outreach and engagement.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Experience and ability to use all Microsoft Office products, including Excel (intermediate level), Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
