About the role

  • Write long-form SEO blogs (1,000–2,500+ words) aligned with keyword strategy and search intent.
  • Develop high-converting service and treatment landing pages.
  • Create lead magnets, guides, case studies, and email nurture content.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and executive ghostwriting.
  • Optimize content for internal linking, structure, readability, and AI Search visibility.
  • Develop deep knowledge of behavioral health, addiction treatment, levels of care, insurance dynamics, and admissions workflows.
  • Understand patient and family psychology to craft content that builds trust and drives action.
  • Stay current on industry trends, compliance sensitivities, and best practices in ethical behavioral health marketing.
  • Translate complex clinical and operational concepts into clear, authoritative, empathetic content.
  • Partner with SEO Strategists to ensure alignment with ranking goals.
  • Collaborate with Web and Design to ensure proper formatting and UX flow.
  • Support Client Success with content updates and campaign needs.
  • Maintain structured documentation and deadline discipline across all projects.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of professional content writing experience (agency or healthcare preferred).
  • Native U.S.-level English writing skills (non-negotiable).
  • Experience writing for healthcare, wellness, or behavioral health brands strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to write SEO-optimized, long-form content that ranks and converts.
  • Strong understanding of search intent, keyword placement, and on-page best practices.
  • Ability to balance empathy and authority when writing about addiction and mental health.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Semrush, SurferSEO, GA4 (basic understanding), and ClickUp.
  • Comfort using ChatGPT or AI tools responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • High attention to detail — grammar, structure, tone consistency.
  • Structured, deadline-driven, and performance-minded.
