About the role

  • Ensure high availability, performance and resilience of systems;
  • Define and track SLIs, SLOs and SLAs, promoting a culture of reliability;
  • Proactively work on incident prevention and failure response (incident management);
  • Conduct blameless post-mortems and continuous improvement plans;
  • Design, implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines;
  • Automate infrastructure and operational processes (Infrastructure as Code);
  • Work on the standardization of environments (dev, staging, production);
  • Ensure secure deployment practices, rollback procedures and versioning;
  • Manage and evolve cloud and/or hybrid infrastructures;
  • Work extensively on monitoring, observability and logging;
  • Optimize infrastructure costs, performance and capacity;
  • Work with caching, queues and messaging to ensure scalability;
  • Implement and maintain security practices, access control and secrets management;
  • Collaborate with the team on environment hardening and security best practices;
  • Ensure basic compliance and sound technical governance practices;
  • Partner with development teams from solution design (shift left);
  • Serve as a technical reference for DevOps and SRE topics;
  • Contribute to building a culture of automation, reliability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or Senior SRE;
  • Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu Server);
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar);
  • Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or similar);
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar);
  • Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog or similar);
  • Knowledge of networking, load balancing, DNS and security;
  • Experience with databases and backup, restore and high-availability strategies;
  • Experience with Redis, queues and messaging systems;
  • Ability to operate in high-availability environments and critical systems.
