About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Lead requirements discovery by interviewing not just the original requestor, but adjacent teams and anyone else who touches the process to surface the requirements.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate the documentation layer to draft requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
  • Liaise between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle, managing communication, resolving clarifications, and keeping delivery on track.
  • Own post-launch quality: review dashboards, reports, and system outputs after every release to confirm the build is performing as intended.
  • Track project status across active workstreams and communicate updates proactively so stakeholders are never surprised.
  • Ask the question that wasn't asked to surface the "what happens when X?" issues before they become expensive fixes.
  • Mentor BA II team members on requirements quality, stakeholder communication, and post-launch ownership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, IT project delivery, product operations, or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead requirements discovery on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Track record of writing precise functional specifications that IT teams can build from correctly the first time.
  • Experience managing the business-to-IT relationship through a full project lifecycle.
  • Analytical mindset: you can review a post-launch report, identify anomalies, trace them toward a root cause, and communicate the finding in a way that drives action.
  • Demonstrated comfort using AI tools professionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
