About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build relationships with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
Lead requirements discovery by interviewing not just the original requestor, but adjacent teams and anyone else who touches the process to surface the requirements.
Use AI tools to accelerate the documentation layer to draft requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
Liaise between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle, managing communication, resolving clarifications, and keeping delivery on track.
Own post-launch quality: review dashboards, reports, and system outputs after every release to confirm the build is performing as intended.
Track project status across active workstreams and communicate updates proactively so stakeholders are never surprised.
Ask the question that wasn't asked to surface the "what happens when X?" issues before they become expensive fixes.
Mentor BA II team members on requirements quality, stakeholder communication, and post-launch ownership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in business analysis, IT project delivery, product operations, or a closely related role.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead requirements discovery on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Track record of writing precise functional specifications that IT teams can build from correctly the first time.
Experience managing the business-to-IT relationship through a full project lifecycle.
Analytical mindset: you can review a post-launch report, identify anomalies, trace them toward a root cause, and communicate the finding in a way that drives action.
Demonstrated comfort using AI tools professionally.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
