About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide analytical support for Industrial Solutions product development lab, pilot line, and Electronics R&D
  • Develop and establish suitable measurement methods for complex tasks
  • Analyse and interpret measurement results
  • Analyse and qualify alternate raw materials to support product localization, mitigate single-source risks, and manage supplier Force Majeure events
  • Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment including ICP-OES, XRF, HPLC, and IC
  • Prepare work instructions, standard operating procedures, calibration reports, and analysis reports for ISO 9001-2015 quality management compliance
  • Complete analysis requests and method development in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed research records in laboratory e-notebooks and Technical Memoranda
  • Maintain and safeguard confidential and trade secret information
  • Participate in symposia and lecture events
  • Lecture at internal and external scientific events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed studies in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a closely related technical field with equivalent experience
  • Experience in analytical chemistry and analytical method development
  • Experience handling HPLC, IC, NMR, and IR; LC-MS experience desirable
  • Experience in electroplating technology desirable
  • Ability to analyse project requirements and create measurement methods using suitable equipment for complex tests
  • Experience with basic statistical process control (SPC) principles
  • Reliable and careful way of working
  • Ability to work independently and solve project or analysis assignments independently
  • Strategic thinking, adaptability, sense of urgency, and market orientation
  • Teamwork and intercultural cooperation
  • Safety awareness and organisational talent
  • English in speech and writing
  • PC skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
