About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Produce batches to scale-up new products
Fill and label containers for customer samples
Communicate process results verbally and in writing
Prepare samples and documents required for shipping
Document product and manufacturing process details
Maintain inventory stocks and records
Organize product CofAs and SDS documents
Perform testing for batches to understand product and process characteristics and cause-effects
Schedule aging studies and report generated data
Assist with and oversee storing and disposing of raw materials, paste flux, and solder paste samples according to internal procedures
Work on continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with the Scale up team on troubleshooting
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and more than 3 years of relevant experience, or MS; entry-level candidates may be considered
Effective exposure and training in Continuous Improvement Methodology, similar to Six Sigma Green Belt
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position
Understanding of working with chemicals
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and computer literacy skills
Practical understanding and working knowledge of a laboratory environment
Ability to record and maintain data in computerized and non-computerized formats
Ability to work in a high-paced, multi-task environment
High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to read, write, and follow written or verbal instructions
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Well-organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated
Demonstrated capacity to work with Microsoft Office Products
