About the role
- User administration and rights assignment in Active Directory
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux systems
- Monitoring and maintenance of the server infrastructure (Windows & Linux)
- Support for network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls) under the guidance of the IT network team
- Endpoint setup, management and enrollment of corporate PCs (via scripts, Microsoft Intune and ManageEngine)
- Support and further development of our FileMaker databases, including required change management
- Planning and execution of backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Patch and update management for operating systems and applications
- User support and training on IT-related matters
- Documentation of IT infrastructure and systems
- Implementation of security measures, updates and policies under the guidance of IT security
- Inventory management of hardware and software
- Performance monitoring of production database systems
- Planning and executing system migrations and upgrades
- Coordination of external service providers as required
- Support for IT projects and the rollout of new systems
- Manage IT tickets and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests
Requirements
- Completed IT training or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration)
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and user management
- Good understanding of network technologies: switches, VLANs, firewalls, routing
- Experience with endpoint management, ideally Microsoft Intune and ManageEngine
- Basic knowledge of database management; FileMaker experience advantageous
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- High sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
- Excellent written and spoken German; good command of English
- Experience with telephony support: mobile and PBX systems
- Experience with ITSM systems for tickets, change requests, etc.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
