About the role
- Oversee daily production operations to meet output and quality targets
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows
- Monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues
- Lead and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability
- Train and develop team members to enhance skills and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus
