About the role
- lead the quality function and manage the Quality Control team and assurance activities
- maintain and improve quality systems and oversee Quality Management System to ISO 9001
- ensure regulatory compliance and monitor adherence to industry regulations
- drive root cause analysis and CAPAs and lead investigations into quality issues
- collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
- track and report on quality KPIs, trends, and improvement initiatives
- address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
- champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance product and process quality
Requirements
- degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- significant experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturing or specialty chemicals
- strong knowledge of quality systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and methodologies
- experience as an ISO 9001 Lead or Internal Auditor
- familiarity with chemical industry regulations and compliance frameworks
- experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- skilled in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and CAPA implementation
- comfortable with quality management systems (QMS), statistical analysis tools, and reporting platforms
- ability to manage customer complaints and ensure satisfaction through quality assurance
- capable of leading quality improvement projects and managing timelines and resources
