Corporate Counsel – Americas

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders and corporate management
- Lead and support commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, and contract management processes
- Support corporate governance and maintenance of group governing documents
- Help strengthen and scale the company’s compliance framework and internal policies
- Deliver practical legal and compliance training to business stakeholders
- Support ESG and sustainability-related initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to improve legal operations, workflows, and digital tools
- Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel when needed
- Promote pragmatic, business-oriented legal best practices across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- J.D. degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably combining law firm and/or in-house experience
- Experience in one or more relevant areas such as commercial contracts, corporate law, privacy, employment law, intellectual property, compliance, M&A, or corporate governance
- Strong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience supporting international or cross-border business operations is a plus
- Active bar admission preferred, but not required
