Automation Project Manager
Element Logic®Automation Projectmanager coordinating integration of automation systems for logistics projects. Ensuring quality and timely execution while collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the end-to-end technical coordination and integration of automation and material flow systems
- Serve as the primary technical interface between engineering teams, suppliers, project management, and the customer
- Own the technical automation scope within projects
- Coordinate engineering activities and track technical milestones
- Monitor suppliers for quality, delivery, and specification compliance
- Support commissioning and act as the escalation point for technical issues
- Ensure system integration across all interfaces and disciplines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering or a comparable qualification
- Ideally more than five years of relevant professional experience
- Solid experience with automation and intralogistics systems
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA)
- Electrical planning (e.g., EPLAN)
- Material flow systems (conveyor systems, AS/RS integration)
- High quality awareness, structured and independent working style
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent German and fluent English (C1)
