About the role
- Install, test, and optimize scanners at customer sites.
- Diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and ensure smooth integration with conveyors and control systems.
- Own the on-site deployment process from setup to full performance readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Controls Engineers and customer teams.
- Advise management regarding customer satisfaction and product performance.
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years relevant experience in Electrical and Controls.
- Associate's Degree in electrical disciplines and programming (two-year college or technical school) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read schematics/electrical prints.
- Demonstrated electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to write script programs for the scanners.
- Ability to program PLCs and troubleshoot systems.
- Ability to understand different types of barcode symbology and recommend the right scanner based on the application.
- Must possess good written & spoken English, Spanish a plus.
