About the role

  • Monitor live trading activity and market conditions.
  • Identify, document, and escalate suspicious activity to Compliance when necessary.
  • Investigate real-time market incidents and own critical path escalations to ElectronX Engineering, while providing regular and active remediation updates to customers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to automate monitoring tools and create real-time alerts.
  • Develop Python scripts for data analysis and operational reporting.
  • Use Python & SQL to build dashboards and visualization tools to improve market insights.
  • Oversee daily trading operations and system monitoring.
  • Assist with onboarding new participants and troubleshooting issues.
  • Work with Compliance on investigations and regulatory requests.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning and testing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in derivatives trading operations (market ops, surveillance, exchange ops, etc.)
  • Experience with Python & SQL—you can analyze data and improve processes
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
