About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop cooking products from component level integration to complete system fulfilling the assigned project targets in terms of quality, performance, reliability, cost,& timing.
  • Operate following the Electrolux Integrated Product Development Process.
  • Track budgets for Project assigned.
  • Chair Project Reviews as required by the Project Leaders.
  • Develop and monitors Project schedules in support of Project goals and targets.
  • Plan, monitors and approves work performed by Engineering and Prototype Workshop, Approval Laboratory, Reliability Laboratory, Innovation Team and Electronics Team.
  • Prepare and direct preparation of engineering documentation: Bill of Material, 2D & 3D drawings and Technical Specifications
  • Being part of the various GR&D teams during the process of product development and demonstrate creative ability through invention or other significant contribution inside the specific project working teams
  • Demonstrate Teamwork approach and self-organizing skills
  • Have full ownership to contribute for the definition of the technical specification (both mechanical and functional).
  • Be the interface with Manufacturing, Factory Quality, Process Engineering, Laboratories, Innovation & Technologies, Quality in Field, Electronics & Electrical Systems Development, Enablers.
  • Ensure Product maintenance, Product quality and Product value analysis programs when needed.
  • Provide full support to company programs, policies and objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or technical qualifications) with 2+ years of experience in Product Development.
  • Advanced skills in 3D CAD, Catia V5 /Inventor software with metal sheet design experience.
  • General knowledge of manufacturing and assembly methodology with stainless steel metal parts.
  • General MS Office proficiency required..
  • Experience in Professional Products sectors for cooking is a plus.
  • Willing to travel
  • Italian; fluent English
