About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Tier 2 electronic components based on market dynamics and technology trends
  • Build strong relationships with component manufacturers and distributors to secure supply continuity and access to innovation
  • Negotiate agreements balancing cost, quality, and long-term availability
  • Monitor electronic component market trends (e.g., lead times, allocation risks, obsolescence) and proactively adapt sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering to influence component selection and design choices
  • Manage lifecycle risks, including obsolescence and end-of-life strategies
  • Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability metrics
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams
  • Deliver on key KPIs (cost savings, NOWC, PPM, supplier consolidation, contract coverage)
  • Act as the interface with internal electronics manufacturing site to align sourcing with production needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, in addition Business Administration is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience procurement and purchasing within a global organization, mainly in Electrical/Electronic Commodities
  • Experiences in adjacent disciplines such as Electronic Engineering/Design, Supply Chain, R&D are also welcomed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
  • Willing to travel
  • Fluent in English; Knowledge of other language (specifically French) is considered an advantage
