About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the design, development, and management of wire harness and electromechanical components.
- Drive quality improvement, cost optimization, new product introduction, complexity reduction, and innovation.
- Analyze technical solutions with suppliers, factory, and other functions/process partners.
- Design and develop electrical diagrams and wiring modules using CAD tools (e.g., E3-Zuken, Siemens NX, Catia).
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements, including functionality, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and environmental standards.
- Support prototype/sample builds with suppliers for development and validation purposes.
- Provide technical support to factories to reduce rework and improve productivity.
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical components, including catalogue, specifications, cost models, and documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields
- Strong electrical engineering expertise, including component design, testing, and development
- Proficiency in tools related to WH design (e.g., Zuken E3, Siemens NX, CATIA) and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, EMI/EMC, environmental rules)
- Experience in design for manufacturing/assembly and value engineering within the appliance industry
- Ability to collaborate effectively in international, cross-functional, and matrix organizations
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and structured engineering approach, with a proactive mindset for learning and innovation.
