About the role

  • Partner with Finance team members to support day-to-day financial activities and deliver meaningful business results.
  • Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and data validation.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned by the department.
  • Support documentation gathering and testing activities, including potential involvement with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.
  • Analyze data using tools such as Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Collaborate with accounting team members to analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with associates across the organization in various projects.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Anticipated graduation date between Fall 2026 and Summer 2027.
  • Master’s students enrolled in 3+1 or 4+1 programs may be considered.
  • Minimum of 30 completed academic credits prior to internship start.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.4.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required due to government contract requirements).
  • Prior internship, work, or project experience in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability when responding to new business challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership through involvement in student organizations, athletics, community activities, or work-related projects.
  • Interest in pursuing a full-time career in Finance following graduation.
