About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts (clients, suppliers, and partners)
Manage technology contracts (SaaS, licensing, services, support, BPO, and integrations)
Strategic negotiation: lead negotiations with clients and strategic partners
Act as a business partner to Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and People (HR)
Governance and compliance: ensure adherence to internal policies, regulations, and market best practices
Implement contract controls and audit processes
Risk management: identify, assess, and mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks
Define contractual strategies (limitation of liability, SLAs, penalties)
Terminations and strategic litigation: handle termination processes, settlement agreements, and renegotiations
Support critical cases and pre-litigation matters
Team management: lead, develop, and structure the legal/contracts team
Define and monitor performance indicators (KPIs), productivity, and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree
Proven experience in contract management and negotiation in technology/software companies
Experience with SaaS models and software licensing
Complex B2B contracts
Large-scale (enterprise) negotiations
Advanced English
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian data protection law) and general data protection principles
Knowledge of labor/employment law
Experience in fast-growing technology companies (scale-ups) — a plus
Experience implementing and/or managing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems — a plus
Background in finance or commercial/sales areas — a plus
Additional training or courses in negotiation — a plus
