About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts (clients, suppliers, and partners)
  • Manage technology contracts (SaaS, licensing, services, support, BPO, and integrations)
  • Strategic negotiation: lead negotiations with clients and strategic partners
  • Act as a business partner to Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and People (HR)
  • Governance and compliance: ensure adherence to internal policies, regulations, and market best practices
  • Implement contract controls and audit processes
  • Risk management: identify, assess, and mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks
  • Define contractual strategies (limitation of liability, SLAs, penalties)
  • Terminations and strategic litigation: handle termination processes, settlement agreements, and renegotiations
  • Support critical cases and pre-litigation matters
  • Team management: lead, develop, and structure the legal/contracts team
  • Define and monitor performance indicators (KPIs), productivity, and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree
  • Proven experience in contract management and negotiation in technology/software companies
  • Experience with SaaS models and software licensing
  • Complex B2B contracts
  • Large-scale (enterprise) negotiations
  • Advanced English
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian data protection law) and general data protection principles
  • Knowledge of labor/employment law
  • Experience in fast-growing technology companies (scale-ups) — a plus
  • Experience implementing and/or managing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems — a plus
  • Background in finance or commercial/sales areas — a plus
  • Additional training or courses in negotiation — a plus
