About the role
- Deliver direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Follow and verify the established Plan of Care prior to each visit
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to the Physical Therapist
- Adhere to state practice guidelines and physician orders
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy programs and safe use of assistive devices
- Promote Elara Caring’s mission, values, and commitment to quality care
- Provide care in a physically demanding, fast-paced home health environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice
- 6+ months of PTA experience preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel within the coverage area (up to 50%)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and transferring patients
