About the role

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Follow and verify the established Plan of Care prior to each visit
  • Report changes in patient condition promptly to the Physical Therapist
  • Adhere to state practice guidelines and physician orders
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy programs and safe use of assistive devices

  • Provide care in a physically demanding, fast-paced home health environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice
  • 6+ months of PTA experience preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the coverage area (up to 50%)
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and transferring patients
