Manage capital projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring work stays aligned with scope, schedule, and budget
Travel (typically weekly) to project sites, located primarily in and closely around Washington, DC
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and community condo boards to keep everyone aligned and moving
Spot risks early, solve problems quickly, and keep boards fully in the loop with straightforward updates
Uphold quality standards through inspections, progress checks, and strong contractor oversight
Track budgets, flag variances, and ensure financial clarity at every stage
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
3-5 years of construction management experience
Experience running construction, capital, or restoration projects (or similar)
Communicates clearly and confidently
Reliable and accountable
Strong organizational skills; specifically with complex projects
Ability to manage multiple projects without losing the thread
Keen ability to break down complex or technical jargon into lay persons speak
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through
Bonus: PMP, CCR or PMI-CP certification
