About the role
- Lead day-to-day administration of FMLA, state and local leave programs
- Serve as primary contact for employees requesting various leaves
- Administer and track leave cases in Workday
- Monitor payroll for colleagues on leave
- Partner with third-party administrators on leave claims
- Conduct training for HRBPs and managers on policies and processes
- Manage the interactive process for colleague accommodation requests
- Collaborate with Benefits team on broader administration tasks
Requirements
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience focused on leave administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state and local leave laws
- Experience managing case workload
- Proficiency with HRIT and leave systems (Workday preferred)
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated discretion and integrity
- Professional certification(s) such as PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or CPDM preferred
- Experience working with multi-state organizations
