Deliver outsourced finance, operations, and accounting services to private investment companies, including their management companies and general partner entities
Serve as the primary client relationship manager, ensuring exceptional service delivery and proactive communication
Supervise and mentor staff accountants across multiple geographies, fostering collaboration and technical development
Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure seamless execution of client engagements

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred)
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting, fund administration, or investment management
Deep technical knowledge of investment company accounting (ASC 946) and relevant US GAAP topics applicable to management companies and general partners
Familiarity with portfolio accounting and fund administration platforms such as FundCount, Advent Geneva, or similar
Experience leveraging cloud-based accounting solutions (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Concur, Expensify)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members at varying levels
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a client-service orientation
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with proven success managing multiple concurrent engagements
