You independently manage and optimize your portfolios, in particular sales positions and residual structures, always within the risk limits and with a focus on performance optimization.
You continuously monitor and analyze the relevant energy markets, assess influencing factors and derive well-founded price expectations.
You analyze the risk structures of your portfolios and develop effective trading strategies based on your analyses.
You further develop the risk management model, hedging strategies and limit structures to steer the portfolios for the future.
You execute trading activities on the energy markets and coordinate closely with Sales, Forecasting and Generation.

Requirements

Completed university degree in a relevant field
Several years of experience in energy trading or portfolio management
Solid knowledge of the electricity and gas markets as well as the relevant trading platforms
Confident and competent use of MS Office
Experience with ETRM systems and SAP
Ideally, knowledge of programming languages such as Python
Proficient English skills
Authorization to trade on exchanges
Analytical, strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, quick decision-making skills and high resilience under pressure
