Lead formal failure analysis efforts on customer-returned SSDs, identifying root causes at both the electrical and physical levels.
Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis on returned SSDs.
Manage critical RMA cases and lead escalations for timely resolution and updates.
Generate and communicate comprehensive FA reports to internal and external teams.
Set up and manage debug systems for DOE and error replication.
Serve as a technical liaison and provide technical consultation and support to customer-facing teams.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in product engineering, system engineering, validation, or quality assurance
Strong background in failure analysis and system-level testing
Proficiency in SSD architecture and NAND flash memory operations
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience in the storage industry and customer-facing technical roles (Preferred)
Familiarity with PCIe, SATA, and bus tracing tools for system debugging (Preferred)
Strong time management and project coordination skills (Preferred)
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous technical development (Preferred)
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed (Preferred)
