About the role

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and HVAC/R systems
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on complex facilities equipment
  • Monitor systems through regular rounds, readings, and alarm surveillance
  • Respond quickly and optimally to system failures and alarm conditions
  • Interpret refrigeration cycles, electrical schematics, and operational data
  • Uphold rigorous safety standards, including LOTO and NFPA 70E protocols
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal customers
  • Meet physical job demands, including lifting and carrying 25–40 pounds

Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off)
  • 1 year of experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, building upkeep, or manufacturing
  • The ability to always wear fab-specific clean room garments (100%)
  • Two or more years of hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration, facilities maintenance, or manufacturing operations (preferred)
  • Two or more years of military training or experience applying technical skills related to HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance (preferred)
  • Valid HVAC/R license (preferred)
