About the role
- Lead the global EHS and Sustainability Project Management Office, ensuring alignment with company’s strategic objectives
- Develop and implement EHS and Sustainability project management methodologies, standards, and tools
- Coordinate with regional and functional leaders to ensure EHS compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainability goals are met
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of EHS and sustainability projects across the organization
- Monitor and report on the status of EHS and sustainability projects, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders
- Promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization, driving initiatives that improve the company’s environmental footprint
- Manage the EHS and Sustainability PMO budget and resources
- Ensure continuous improvement of EHS project management practices and sustainability initiatives through benchmarking and lessons learned
- Manage and coordinate EHS training programs across the organization, ensuring employees are adequately trained and informed about EHS policies, procedures, and sustainability goals
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO systems (such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), ensuring compliance with international standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management or related field
- Advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in EHS, project management, sustainability initiatives, training management, and ISO system management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, sustainability practices, and ISO systems
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ability to travel as needed
