About the role
- Lead validation and characterization of DRAM products on system platforms and next-generation processors.
- Analyze yield and performance data to optimize reliability.
- Conduct root-cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Develop application notes, design guides, and training materials.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customer integration and troubleshooting.
- Provide SI/PI guidance, memory controller timing recommendations, and bring-up support.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, manufacturing, and marketing to influence product features and roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in DRAM product or applications engineering
- Strong knowledge of DRAM architecture and standards (DDR4, DDR5, HBM, GDDR)
- Deep understanding of system architecture and memory integration
- Proficiency in Python, Linux, and analytics tools (e.g., JMP)
- Experience with high-frequency lab equipment and SI/PI fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for customer and cross-functional engagement
- Willingness to travel as needed
