About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all aspects of general dental procedures including gum therapy & soft tissue regeneration, root canals, crown & bridge, dentures, implant restorations, while utilizing oral surgery skills for surgical extractions & impacted wisdom teeth, bone grafting & ridge augmentation, sinus closure & lift, multi implant placement, and IV sedation.
- Administer sedation for surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with other providers and specialists to develop treatment plans for complex cases.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up.
- Stay compliant and current with advancements in oral surgery techniques and technologies, attending relevant continuing education programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited dental residency program
- Active New York State Dental License
- Proficiency in a wide range of oral surgical procedures
