About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers
  • Inspect client properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points
  • Determine pest infestation types
  • Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and maintaining pest-free environments
  • Advise customers on reducing future infestation risks
  • Build customer relationships
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Assist with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
  • Maintain, stock, and ensure proper working condition of pest control equipment
  • Follow local, state, and federal pest control product and safety regulations
  • Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Clean-shaven face for respirator safety
  • Available Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to learn all areas of pest control
  • Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills sufficient to follow product-label mixing instructions
  • Customer-facing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
  • Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
  • Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
  • Ability to perform regular sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, including on stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to wear OSHA-compliant personal protective equipment, including a respirator
