About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers
Inspect client properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points
Identify pest types and determine appropriate treatments
Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
Educate customers on pest prevention and reducing future infestation risks
Build customer relationships and schedule and confirm appointments
Assist with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
Maintain, stock, and inspect pest control equipment
Follow local, state, and federal pest control and safety regulations
Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle
Work safely in confined spaces and varied indoor and outdoor conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver’s license from state of residence
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations; covered by the employer
Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
Clean-shaven face for respirator safety
Willingness to learn all areas of pest control
Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills to follow product-label mixing instructions
Customer-facing experience preferred
Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Ability to wear OSHA-compliant respiratory PPE
