About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the lead Researcher for multiple simultaneous client projects with Consultants and other Researchers
- Plan projects and develop rigorous research approaches and strategies
- Conduct market, client, candidate, qualitative, and data research
- Identify, calibrate, and prioritize potential candidates using internal and external resources
- Guide project teams through search processes, candidate solutions, and client materials
- Synthesize information and data from interviews, discussions, and working sessions
- Create client documentation including candidate profiles, role specifications, search strategies, assessment reports, and client progress reports
- Partner with client teams to develop pitch presentations and business development materials
- Initiate, shape, and drive business development activities and related projects
- Monitor market shifts, company updates, and people moves
- Build targeted event lists for business development dinners, conferences, and other points of connection
- Contribute to knowledge management by sharing expertise and best practices, developing professional networks, and recording pertinent information
- Develop subject matter expertise and provide strategic guidance and insights on important trends and topics
- Support executive search, board, and advisory projects for clients in the technology industry
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of 3 years’ professional work experience (post-undergrad)
- Demonstrated functional experience of a similar nature, such as market research, qualitative or legal research, professional services/consulting, or project planning
- Previous project-based experience working effectively on multiple mandates simultaneously
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability
- Demonstrates very strong attention to detail
- Preferred: depth of knowledge or experience in the IT Services industry and ecosystem
- Preferred: strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
- Preferred: affinity and interest in executive search or professional services
- Preferred: superior engagement management abilities and initiative to lead projects with minimal guidance or supervision
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to push back constructively and offer solutions
- Preferred: forward-thinking, structured, and process-oriented thinking
- Preferred: self-starter mentality with good business judgment
