About the role
- Leverage expertise to work closely with CFO teams in a local, regional, and global capacity
- Build and maintain an external network of industry/functional sources and experts to drive client solutions
- Autonomously coordinate the search process and prepare client-ready documentation
- Manage projects (assignments, pitch preparation, etc.) in partnership with consultants and create effective project plans to meet client timelines
- Identify, validate, calibrate and prioritize candidates for assignments and provide C-level/senior candidate recommendations
- Collaborate extensively with colleagues in the London office and engage with senior clients
- Contribute to discussions on search strategy, candidate suitability and industry trends; support business development and knowledge management
Requirements
- At least 8-12 years relevant professional experience in an international setting / global company in Industry, Consulting or Research, ideally within a geographically dispersed team
- Experience of working on international engagements in a professional services environment (must have) with an understanding of UK market (preferred)
- Prior experience in and/or Industry experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the CFO function or Financial Services preferred
- Familiarity with leading research tools such as Factiva, Capital IQ, Boardex and IBISWorld
- Clear and confident communication skills both in person and on the phone
- A self-starter with learning agility, engaging remotely, thought partnering, eye for detail and initiative to lead assignments with minimal guidance
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and expertise with MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
