About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the legal department in providing legal advice to the company on all material matters of operational business
Support commercial contracting processes and provide legal assistance to internal departments
Assist in identifying and managing legal risks
Review, comment on, and draft contracts and legal documents
Assist business units in implementing contractual requirements
Participate in contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, service providers and other business partners
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on general civil, commercial and corporate law matters
Support the assessment of legal risks and the preparation of recommended courses of action
Maintain and develop contract templates, standard clauses, internal policies and legal‑tech processes
Manage legal documents, monitor relevant deadlines and maintain structured documentation of advisory activities
Support compliance matters, data protection issues, corporate measures, disputes and claim management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in law, business law or an equivalent legal qualification
Ideally some practical experience in a legal department, law firm, auditing firm or a similar legal environment
Experience in contract law, commercial and corporate law or in commercial contracting processes is an advantage but not mandatory
Good commercial awareness and understanding of business contexts
Interest in practical, business‑oriented legal advice
Ability to analyze legal issues in a structured way and present them clearly
Excellent German language skills
Good to very good English language skills, both written and spoken
